Book a photo shoot for an hour or two before your Matric Dance and get your partner, parents and friends involved. It’s an awesome way to preserve your memories, and it adds some pre-party fun to the evening.
Rela and her hubby-2-b requested an urban theme to their e-shoot, to contrast their bush wedding which will be held in March this year. The request was a little scary for me. I’d never done an urban shoot before and was apprehensive about risking our equipement in a dodgy, unfamiliar area. Pffffft! It was awesome! We braved Newtown, only to be either ignored by pedestrians or embraced by welcoming spectators. Will definately be embarking on that grafitti-filled adventure again as soon as I have more willing models!
‘Rats?! What?!?!’ I can almost hear you thinking it!
I know, I know, it’s a very strange choice of pet for most. But they are actually beautiful animals. Dispite common belief, rats are extremely intelligent, emotional, sensitive, social critters, who are no less clean than your average domestic dog or cat. In character, they can be described as a combination of canine and feline, but smaller, and with their own very specific care requirments. They are so funny and so cute, and keep me entertained for hours!

We covered this couple’s wedding a while back, so I was so chuffed when they commissioned me for their preggie pics a year later. It’s not often that we find brave clients like these who are happy to let us use their nude pics in our portfolio! Their daughter is photo-CRAZY and was full of ideas for poses.
